“Medical Scholarship: Writing for Publication”

This program will review the problems most frequently found in education projects and discuss effective strategies to produce high quality education research and papers. Learning Objectives: Participants will (be able to): 1. Participants will be able to use Kirkpatrick's pyramid, a hierarchy of medical education research outcomes, to examine their own outcomes. 2. Participants will be able to follow an action plan to get started in and/or move their educational projects forward towards publication. 3. Participants will apply quality indices to their own research projects. 4. Participants will be able to identify common problems in writing for publication and strategies to avoid them.
